Joe Solari

Joe brings over two decades of family office and private equity experience to Focus Search Partners in both Retained and Interim Executive Search solutions. As Managing Director, he serves as a trusted advisor to business owners and management teams to help them solve problems, achieve strategic objectives and increase the enterprise value of their companies.  

Joe has spent a significant amount of his time working with lower middle market private equity firms and portfolio companies. He has broad-based experience working with companies of all sizes and across all sectors including industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, professional and business services and real estate. He delivers the right executive and professional solutions to his clients on either a Retained or Interim basis for the C-suite as well as for critical sales, marketing, operations, finance and HR roles and functions.  

Joe joined Focus Search Partners in 2024 from one of the world’s largest executive search firms, where he also served as a Managing Director.  Previously, Joe held senior executive roles at several lower middle market private equity firms. Throughout his career, he has been invited to speak at conferences and on panels on the topic of Direct Investments by Family Offices. Earlier in his career, he enjoyed Corporate Development and Business Development roles with a range of companies from Fortune 100 businesses to start-ups and early-stage companies. He began his career at First Chicago Bank as a First Scholar.

Joe earned his MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and a BA from Georgetown University. 

Alongside Focus Search Partners, Joe is a Director at G*Ventures Management, a closely held concern, and the Founder of Greenwich Private Investments, a private enterprise that partners with business owners, financial sponsors, management teams and executives to capitalize on investment opportunities,  

Joe lives in Greenwich, CT with his wife, two children and dog Romeo where he is actively engaged in local and state government.
