Feargal Owens

Feargal is an experienced global recruiting executive who brings more than 20 years of experience to his role as managing director at Focus Search Partners.  Feargal leads international searches for FSP, expanding our ability to meet our clients’ growing demand for global search assignments.

Feargal previously served as managing director of Allegis Partners, a global executive search firm, where he focused on placing C-suite leaders internationally, including across Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the U.S. He has vast expertise in building executive teams in publicly traded, high-growth, Pre-IPO and turnaround corporate initiatives.

Feargal’s vast search experience includes Chief Executive Officer, Chief Information Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and Chief Data Officer searches in addition to a variety of functional leadership roles across finance and operations. With a particular focus on private equity, Feargal has advised and built executive teams in high growth, pre-IPO, and turnaround corporate situations. He has a deep network and experience in advising on what success looks like for both clients and executives.

Prior to his work at Allegis Partners, Feargal was a Partner of an Australian-based executive search and board practice. Earlier in his career, he worked with Korn Ferry in China and was responsible for supporting large conglomerates growing in the region.

Feargal studied Business/Economics at Newcastle University. He is an avid cyclist and has participated in several triathlons.
